The ABB EXLIM-P series 11kV metal oxide surge arrester provides reliable overvoltage protection for Distribution transformers, switchgear, cables and rotating machines on 11kV networks.

Metal oxide varistor (MOV) technology provides excellent clamping performance with no power-frequency current through the arrester under normal operating conditions, eliminating thermal stress and improving service life compared to older gap-type arresters.

The polymer housed design is lightweight, vandal-resistant and immune to explosive shattering. Manufactured to IEC 60099-4.
